Support Group
In the Deception Bay District there is a District Support Group of parents, friends and the District Leader who work together to build the Guide District.
What does the District Support Group do?
What does the District Support Group do?
They support the unit leaders, participate in District decision making, assist with maintaining the hall, and promote Guides in the community. The District Support Group also raise funds to assist with insurance, Leader training and uniforms, resources and equipment used by the District.
All parents are encouraged to attend Support Group meetings. The meetings are relaxed and friendly and usually start at 6:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month except during school holidays.
